5 Star Location! Downtown Seattle Prime Location, Water View, Parking (SCS9)

"Emma's place was perfect for our Seattle weekend. The location was perfect. We walked to get coffee and noshes every morning from Pike's (though Emma had coffee beans ready to grind and enjoy) then came back and enjoyed them while gazing at the water and ferris wheel. We walked to the ferry. We walked to get dinner and drinks. It was amazing. And the place itself was great. Clean, modern and stylish and really comfortable. We slept on the pull-out and I can't believe I slept so well. We will definitely be back to Seattle and back to Emma's place!" - Stephanie, 10/01/2017

"Great location and right by waterfront, but building is poorly maintained. Unit is very small for more than two people. It needs some repairs and cleaning. Emma, the owner, is very helpful, if you have questions. Very confusing to enter building and get parking pass and information, which is in a book INSIDE the unit. Parking is not right by unit, but down on a lower street. Lots of keys to use for building, unit and parking doors. Nice to have free parking, though. Very expensive to park by the waterfront. For more than $300 a night, a hotel would have been a better choice for seeing the waterfront area and we would have had a cleaner, bigger, better unit and free breakfast. The small kitchen in the unit is nice, but not necessary for us, since there were dozens of wonderful restaurants and bars within walking distance. Wish we had booked a hotel and saved some money! We paid $617 for two nights in this unit and the pull out couch was broken, leaving only a queen bed for three of us." - Diane, 7/01/2017

"Loved how close Emma's location is to Pike Place Market, the waterfront and everything else you want to see in Seattle. The view was great, and we loved the rooftop area. We really appreciate the toys and other kid amenities in the place too! Will definitely stay again." - Christina, 7/01/2017

"Emma's listing is absolutely ideal if you want to be in the heart of the action. It is a block from the water, a block from Pikes place Market, but still a very quiet apartment with everything you need. Parking included, which is a major savings. The listing itself is fully equipped, and Emma even had a stroller and pack and play, which was amazing to see as parents traveling with a 2 1/2 year old. We would most definitely stay again, given the opportunity. Thanks Emma!" - Ryan, 6/01/2017

"Great location!" - Erica, 6/01/2017

"Book this for the location, it can't be beat. Right next to the beautiful and eccentric market with a little balcony that looks over the water. Everything you need has been provided including coffee. Comprehensive check in instructions were helpful as well. Only downside was we had 4 people staying here and while our friends said they had the best nights sleep on their life on the bed, the pull out couch was pretty uncomfortable." - Molly, 6/01/2017

"Really fantastic apartment with amazing location! So many amenities, beautiful views and great communication with the owner. Would have received 5 stars except that unfortunately we needed to use the pull out couch as there were 4 adults staying, and it was very uncomfortable. Perhaps it has been used a lot, as the mattress is quite uneven and you can feel the bars so makes for a pretty uncomfortable sleep. Otherwise a great place overall!" - Christina, 6/01/2017

"Great location, very convenient. Thank you." - J, 5/01/2017

"Great location, comfortable, I will definitely stay here again!!!" - Marco, 5/01/2017

"The host canceled this reservation 72 days before arrival. This is an automated posting." - Elliot, 5/01/2017

"Emma was there when I needed her! Comfy bed great location." - Crystal, 5/01/2017

"Location, location, location! Can't get a better location. And we really appreciated the free parking. The apartment is well stocked and the views tremendous." - Ellen, 4/01/2017

"Coming to Seattle for the first time? This place is essential for newbies like me. Located in a tourist sweet spot, I found everything I wanted to see and visit at walking distance. Heck, the back door to this place was Post Alley! Home of (the most gross landmark) the Gum Wall! The place itself was a dream with a great view of the wharf and Ferris Wheel from the balcony, it was hard not to just chill out and play my guitar staring into landscape. It had all the right amenities, but I might upgrade the internet as it wasn't capable enough to run any of my streaming apps on my phone (weirdly enough Netflix totally works on their roku). Seattle is a wonderful city and this Airbnb made it incredibly easy to enjoy my time. I'd recommended this place to anyone, but especially to those who want to take in the tourist parts of Seattle." - Andrew, 4/01/2017

"The apartment was perfect for our family. It provided sufficient space for me, my wife, our four-year-old, and seven-month-old. The apartment came with a number of great amenities for children (e.g. stroller, pack and play, toys, DVDs). The location was perfect for me to walk to the convention center while the rest of the family wandered Pike's Place Market. Everything was clean and in good order. Be sure to carefully read through all the check in procedures that Emma provides to help ensure a smooth entry." - Michael, 3/01/2017

"5 star view, 5 star location, 5 star host" - Matthew, 2/01/2017

"Central location - very easy to get to and from. Love that it has a kitchen so that you don't have to eat out every meal!" - Taylor, 2/01/2017

"Great location with parking! Located in the heart of downtown and within walking distance to everything. The unit had everything you need from toiletries to spices, coffee and teas. Amenities were definitely beyond expectation! Even more though there were some troubles with the intended suite that we booked, Emma was very professional, responsive and quick to resolve any issues that came up. Overall great place to stay to explore Seattle with a very accommodating host! Even with the hiccups, would definitely stay here again if we're ever back in Seattle!" - Elaine, 1/01/2017

"This was my first Airbnb experience and I couldn't be happier! The condo was just as described. It was clean, very centrally located and the building felt safe and secure. It is IN Pike Place Market, on Post Alley just a few yards from the famous gum wall. All that Pike Place, the waterfront, and downtown has to offer is right there in walking distance, and when you are too tired for a longer trek, Uber is fast and inexpensive (also a first for me!). Check in and parking was easy and just as it was described, although we struggled a bit with the door buzzer at check in (our inexperience and no fault of the hosts). The condo deck had a view of the Big Wheel and the water. We had a wonderful time and I plan on using Airbnb again, and especially want to stay in this condo again. This trip was with my adult children, but I can hardly wait to stay again for a shopping and sightseeing trip with my friends. Thanks Emma for the wonderful experience!" - Tracy, 12/01/2016

"Great place to stay, centrally close to Pike Market, less than five minute walk to the waterfront. Would highly recommend." - Jen, 11/01/2016

"We feel like the listing was very accurate and we found it to be what we expected. We loved the location being so close to many things. Emma was responsive to our last minute booking and we enjoyed our stay." - Debra, 10/01/2016

"What a wonderful apartment! The location is perfect; right downtown, within walking distance to everything, and you're actually in the alley where the gum wall is, steps from Pike's Place! The apartment is exactly as it appears in the pictures and boasts great views of the bay. We really enjoyed the various ways to enter the complex; locked door leading directly to 1st Ave, locked door directly to Post Alley, or street access onto Western. The bed was comfy, everything was clean, and there was a great instructional guest book with tons of recommendations on activities and places to eat. Emma was very accommodating with our request to drop our bags early, which was much appreciated. Thanks for a wonderful stay!" - Jolene, 6/01/2016

"Emma's condo was just as it looked in the pictures! The bed and sheets were very confortable. In the ottoman, I found a great blanket to curl up with in front of television. The kitchen was well appointed with all I needed. The dining table served a dual purpose as dining table/desk. The view was amazing and the condo is right in the Pike's area. I walked to my conference, to dinner and the grocery store. So fun enjoying downtown living! Emma was very responsive to a few questions I had during my stay. I would recommend this place for sure! This was my first time using airbnb for a business trip and it worked out just great!" - Robin, 5/01/2016

"The listing was accurate and was a good value. The apartment was relatively small but clean and tough to beat the location if you want to be near Pikes and the SAM. Once you figure out how to leave from the upper exits it's convenient to everything in the neighborhood. The Medici at Cafe Ladro is worth a try. And a few blocks away the coffee at Moore's is amazing and Serious Pie (for serious pizza pie)." - Phil, 4/01/2016

Hi Phil, Thanks so much for your gracious review! Normally we're much more responsive but unfortunately we had a death in the family during the dates of your stay. Please accept our sincere apologies for the lack of communication. Kindest regards, Emma

"Excellent location. Very nice apartment." - Ralf, 3/01/2016

"I loved staying in room 710! It was pretty new when we stayed there. Great living area and bed room. Super close to the Market and not far from any other big attractions." - Jamie, 3/01/2016

"The perfect place for a family! Location is everything! I can't say enough how grateful we were about parking with a toddler and a family of four! Emma's condo is EVERYTHING! Literally steps from the Pike Place Market and beautiful downtown Seattle! The condo had everything we needed and it was a wonderful stay!" - Alicia, 3/01/2016

"Very clean, tidy, comfortable, and well stocked. Super convenient location. Thank you, Emma!" - Cristelle, 2/01/2016

"Exactly like advertised ! Amazing flat, great amenities, AMAZING walkscore (elevator right off the complex that takes you inside Pike Place market), would absolutely use again + recommend ! The absolute best !Only downside was Emma was not as responsive as other airbnb hosts which was a little stressful when you're travelling 8000+kms!" - Marie, 2/01/2016

"We loved our stay at this airbnb. The location is very ideal, near Pike Place Market, as well as the downtown and many tourist attractions. The apartment was spacious, however the bathroom could have been cleaned a bit more. The views from the apartment balcony were nice as well. Our host, Emma, was very courteous and prompt. Overall a great stay!" - Kimberly, 1/01/2016

"Emma's place was great. It is in an excellent location. The was a relaxing living area, four place dining table, and a well equipped kitchen. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. There is even a decent view. Wifi worked well. I didn't use the TV. Parking is in a garage around the block, but the walk is only across the street. Emma has a very helpful and in depth binder in the apartment that walks you through all you need to know!" - Zachary, 1/01/2016

"This condo is a gem in the Emerald City! It is perfectly situated for access to everything. You literally can walk out from underneath the famous Pike's Place Market from Post Alley. Turn one block to the Seattle Art Museum or take the steps down to the Seattle Aquarium, the Ferris Wheel, the ferries and all of the waterfront in about five minutes. Their is a CityTarget a couple blocks away for all your grocery needs or anything you forgot. It is a perfect location to explore Seattle. The condo itself is great. Clean and cozy—we had enough space for two adults and a 3-year old and a 5-year old—though you might trip over each other if you have older kids or more than two. The place is stocked with everything you might hope to find in an AirBNB and the some; coffee, filters, kleenex, shampoo and body wash, spices, etc. Hosts make it easy to get in and out and were available by email for questions. You have a great view of the Puget Sound, Ferris Wheel and Seattle sunsets from the balcony. We will definitely use this place again when visiting—highly recommend it! Tip: For a decadent espresso treat—go to a Caffe Ladro and try the Medici—a mocha smoothed with foamed milk and an orange zest." - Jala & Billy, 1/01/2016
